New Covenant Church was established in 1990 by a group of believers who had a desire to experience the "deep things of God" that are mentioned in I Corinthians 2:10...for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." It is a non-denominational, charismatic church embracing the "full-gospel" preaching of the word of God. We invite you to "Go Deeper" with us!
What should I expect at an NCC service?
Praise and Worship
We open each service with a time of lively praise and worship where freedom of expression is encouraged.
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms [songs with instrumental accompaniment.] Psalm 95:2 Praise Him with the timbrel and dancing. Psalm 150:4
The raising of hands in worship might be exhibited as well as the bowing of knees in humble adoration of our Lord.
Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension. I Timothy 2:8 Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Psalm 95:6
Spirit-Led Preaching of the Word of God
Relying on the leadership of the Holy Spirit is an important factor in all of New Covenant's worship services. Our pastor always prepares the message of the hour with the understanding that the Holy Spirit is in charge of the service and the direction that it takes. The preaching of the Word of God might very well be accompanied by: words of knowledge, words of wisdom and prophecy along with other spiritual manifestations found in I Corinthians 12.
And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed. Mark 16:20
Ministry Time
No service is complete without a time of response to the preaching of the Word and the opportunity to minister to the needs of the saints. That is why at the conclusion of each of our services we offer a Ministry Time to those in need of prayer.
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up,... James 5:14-15.
